John Connolly Sr wrote to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) about his hero when growing up, James Brendan Connolly known in the family as 'JB'. Chapter 11 above is from the Family Book

He wrote to the IOC to explained that although Connolly Sports have used the  'crowned head of laurel leaves' for a long time and is legally registered in the UK to export worldwide we need your approval for our... 'swing tag'.
